Bike to School

We had been trying to figure out a time for Jaydon to bike to school for awhile and between weather and illnesses, we finally pulled it off.  In the morning I rode with him (about a mile and a half) and then in the afternoon Gram and the girls came along to pick him up.  We had a good time and he was quite excited to be able to get to school by bike.

 

I was trying to keep Kate awake on the ride home so she would nap at home, I gave her a bar to help accomplish this - it worked but also resulted in one very messy Kate.

Kids

The problem with trying to sneakily update the blog months after the picture was taken, I lose track of what was happening.  Clearly the girls were having some fun playing with dolls and utilizing the baby swing for themselves.  I think Kate may have climbed in the rocker by herself. Kate is definitely entering the baby stage, she loves all things baby!

A new dentist

We tried out a new dentist for the kids, they did great and were rewarded with fun certificates and pictures.  Even Kate got a bit of a cleaning and did her best "ahhhhs,' pretty cute.

Lucy's Little Gym Show

Lucy had a great time being part of The Little Gym team this year.  She transitioned part way through the year to a gymnastics only class and has loved it.  The year end celebration and performance was fun to watch, she sure has come a long way in a year.

Twirl-go-round

The kids Christmas present finally arrived. Grandma was so thrilled to get them this because she had one from her grandparent sets when she was a kid.  She fondly remembers playing on it a ton and our kids (and the neighbors) have definitely enjoyed it so far.

Mom's Day Extras

My kids were spoiling me with Mom's Day cards and projects, they both made a ton of little things and I had to snap a picture.

New Simming Pool

We bought a new blow up pool and the kids are loving it!  The weather has been hot so it has been great to be outside in the water.
