Jaydon lost his first tooth! It was a bummer that Dad was out of town but it was still pretty exciting. Jaydon was eating a piece of crusty french bread and all of a sudden said "why is my bread all red" well sure enough he had lost his tooth, it came out right in the bread and he swallowed it. The nice thing was the bread absorbed some of the blood so it was really no big deal. No pain, no tears just excitement to lose his first tooth and a little worry about whether the tooth fairy comes when there is no tooth to collect. The answer is yes, Jaydon let a nice note for the tooth fairy and the tooth fairy left a note back with a silver dollar! Pretty cool.

Football and Bloodmoon
We had a wonderful day with our neighbors, watching the Seahawks get their first win, playing football and seeing the bloodmoon. It was a full day of activities and fun and we enjoyed spending it with the people we live around.
Cul de sac football during half time and at the end of the Hawks game
We didn't get any great pics of the moon, it wasn't quite late enough and we had to get the kids into bed but here was our best attempt. It was pretty cool watching this with 20 other people at the end of the street.

Lynnwood adventures
I am notorious for waking up on a Saturday morning when we don't have much going on and finding some event online that we can go take part in. Thank you to the parentmap calendar. This Saturday I found a kids PTA fundraiser pancake breakfast and healthy kids fair. The food was delicious and the fair was fun with this bike rodeo thing. The kids enjoyed it and Jaydon even won the Aquasox tickets prize for next season! We then went to the nearby park to meet with some friends and then went to lunch with them. Quite a fun morning-midday.
On the bike course (with his new birthday bike)
Love the 12th Hombre cut outs. Lucy took the last picture.

Outside time
We love hanging out in our cul de sac. The fall has been so nice we have been able to play outside almost every day.
Lucy was doing a little bike/roller skate combo
Jaydon was trying out the scooter
Just hanging out

Kate is 11 months
This is my last 'month' post. I can't believe my youngest will be 1 in another month - how time flies. I have recently taken to telling people Kate is 95% sweet and 5% mean. When you say no or don't give her something she wants she lets you know about it - often by hitting or scratching. Definitely something we will be working on. However, most of the time she continues to be the happy girl who loves her family, her cats and playing. She keeps herself quite well entertained, similar to how Lucy could occupy herself for a long period of time. She has started enjoying looking at story books by herself (and reading them with family).
On her official 11 month birthday. She is still a great eater and loves most everything we put in front of her. It has been hard but we have managed to avoid any desserts with her so her birthday cake will be quite a surprise.
She was putting toys in the hole and dropping them down the inside hole, at one point when I looked, half her body was inside the cat tree.
She has started loving to climb up onto things, Lucy's bed is just the right height to challenge her but allow for success - she is always so proud of herself.
Tired girl fell asleep with Grandma watching her late one afternoon. She has just started to sometimes take 1 nap but she really does still need 2, so late afternoons can be hard for her.
Again more climbing and so proud of herself.
We sure are lucky to be this little girls mommy and daddy! Life is good.

Kate the jumper
The family jumper that we got when Jaydon was a baby has come in handy! All 3 kids have loved it and it makes shower time much easier for me. Kate really gets into jumping as the video shows, the picture was not an adequate portrayal of her fun.

Lucy starts The Little Gym
Lucy started her dance and gymnastics class. It is a fun little class for an hour a week that has time for gymnastics, ballet, tap and creative dance. She loves getting to do such a variety of activities. Pictures from day 1, a little blurry as they are all taken through windows.
Started out with some tap
A fun lego area for Kate to play
Lucy loves twirling
Kate and a little boy her age get to hang out during class time
a TV so we can see the dance room from the lego area
Moving on to gymnastics
She was a little nervous to get started but once she did she had a great time.
Jaydon Starts Kindergarten
Jaydon started Kindergarten! He is so ready.
"I've got this mom"
And tradition continues, here is his first day of school ice cream! He even got a sneaky special dinner thrown in.
Lucy enjoyed a second first day of school treat
Some of his early work, and probably some of the only stuff I will post as he brings home a ton each day.
