Trick-or-treat

We had another busy but fun Halloween night.  My job at our church required me to be there all afternoon/evening helping host a big Trek or Treat event so Jeremy brought the kids to the event for the first part of the evening and then they hit the close neighbors for Trick-or-Treating. It was a great night for our pumpkin, princess and frog prince.

Heroes

Our church did a fall outreach event called Heroes. We had lots of fun and the last day they had this photo booth for families to take pics with the superheroes who were in attendance (and Chewy is of course a super hero). Kate was pretty much enthralled with Chewy the whole time.

New Chair

Our neighbors had this chair and don't have a spot for it in their new house so we are holding onto it for awhile. As soon as it came into the house Lily was on it, she is frequently found chasing her tail around it. Higgins also joined her on the very first evening we had it, they don't share space very often so it was cute.

Lucy's Selfie

Surprise, look what I found on my phone going through the photos one day. Reminds me of when Jaydon used to get the camera at a similar age.

Sick Kate

Poor girl sure gets a lot of crud in the fall.  She has been down and out a few different times.  Fortunately only 1 ear infection so far.

Guy's Weekend

I am so grateful for the small group we joined after we got married.  12 years later and the guys are getting together in AZ for a fun weekend.  We are blessed to still have these friendships in our lives. Jeremy had a blast and got to enjoy a Seahawks game at the AZ pub dedicated to the Hawks. Bummer it was a crazy game that ended in a tie!

Annual Leighton Pumpkin Party

We had another fabulous day for the Leighton Pumpkin Party.  The weather was beautiful, the company wonderful and the food delicious.
All the kids
They had a pumpkin hunt this year, each kid was looking for a plastic pumpkin and a small real pumpkin. It was a blast, and some were quite challenging.

The food!
We even got to have a hot dog roast at the fire pit. Cousin E above enjoying his hot dog and Kate with Auntie Jenny below.

Caedan or should I say Spidey

They have fangs! And black teeth!
Time to carve pumpkins. Jeremy was out of town this weekend so I got carving duty.

Y Harvest Festival

Jeremy was out of town for almost a week and a half straight so on Friday night I took the kids to get their flu shots, pick out my new glasses (that was a fun process with 3 kids) and then we went to a special dinner out and hit the YMCA's festival.  We all had a good time and enjoyed the YMCA fun.
Bad picture of our dinner adventure
My pumpkin, princess (Belle) and frog (he wanted to be a lizard but I couldn't find anything so we went with frog instead).

This is the face Kate gives you when you tell her to smile!

This was the face when she was told she couldn't eat all the candy right when she got it!

Waiting in line for a balloon, our last activity and Kate was definitely getting tired.
