We went to the lake with friends and had a great time. Our friends live walking distance away so it was fun to be able to head back to their house and enjoy a dinner and s'mores after. Clearly I was having too much fun that evening to take pictures.

Happy Birthday Treyson
We went to a neighbor's to celebrate their 3rd son's 3rd birthday. We had a great time. Jayda (the mom) throws a pretty amazing party.
Kids did a little water play
Then we ate some food and had a pinata
There is a huge yard to play in
And we closed the evening off with cupcakes! Happy Birthday Treyson!

Girl's and their dolls
Lucy and Kate are at a fun age where they can really play together. I often hear Kate yell "mom" and when I answer she says "no, you're not the mom, Lucy's the mom." Lot's of dolls and dress up and pretend happen with these girls.

Good-bye to Higgins
We had to say good-bye to Higgins. He was such a wonderful part of our family and he will be missed. It was unfortunately also during a very crazy busy stretch that we had to say good-bye and we were very fortunate to find a vet who would come to our house within a few hours of calling and allow us to say good-bye to him peacefully at home just hours before Jeremy flew out for a week long business trip. We all cried, we all smiled and we all celebrated Higgins and the love he brought to our home.

| Sorry it is sideways but a nice card we received from the vet a few days after. |
Just a couple days before we said good-bye Jeremy gave Higgins a nice warm spot near the fire
The kids new he wasn't doing well and would try and cover him with this blanket to help him feel better.
It was hard to say good-bye but it was time. One of the hardest parts was the next morning when I went to get Kate in the morning and the first thing she said was "Higgins feeling better now, he can come come?" Oh tears, we miss him!

Camping
We took a quick overnight camping trip not too far from Jaydon's school so we could make it work on a school night. Grandma kept the girls and I just brought Jaydon after school Thurs and took him back in Fri morning. We had a good night and the kids had a lot of fun running around the campsite.
We had a great time!
Lucy's Spring Sing
Lucy had her Spring Concert for Pre-K. She had a great year and did a fabulous job with her singing and she had a lot of fun. It was a great year for her and I was so glad to see her get to enjoy Ms. Flath as her teacher just like Jaydon did.
Her end of year book 0- it is quite an undertaking and Ms. Flath makes them beautiful for all the kiddos.

Last Day of my Church Job
I was really fortunate to get to spend the school year working at our Church preschool. I was the Sunday director for 3 classrooms ages 3-Kindergarten. It was always busy and a bit crazy but I was very fortunate to be able to do the work with childcare provided for my girls and always get Lucy to school. On the last day I of course forgot to take any pictures but this one with my friend Kyleann (she was having a bridal shower in a couple weeks and I was supposed to bring a picture of us together). I enjoyed my time but was ready to be done and look to get back into the classroom for the fall. I didn't even think to take a picture of the flowers and cards and pictures I was given. I will remember my time fondly.

Happy Mother's Day
We got a super special Mother's Day this year! Granny Angie was in Seattle for a concert and we got to head down to visit her and enjoy some early dinner together. (It was also my last morning of doing my church preschool job so that was nice too). I am not sure I remembered the good camera and I certainly didn't take great pictures but we enjoyed our day!

Kid's Fish-In
Another year, another kid's fish-in. It makes for a nice Mother's Day celebration with Grandma! This year we did a later time slot but rode our bikes to the park and Dad drove with all the gear. It worked out well and celebrated Gram as well for Mother's day since she vastly prefers biking to fishing.
Kate is still just a little young to participate but the older two both caught their limit (2 fish I think)
Dad and Grandma were helpers.
Success!
