Misc. End of April

Well if you follow along regularly, I apologize. I'm not sure I've ever gone 4 months between posts before. Oops, life is getting crazy. I will try in the next week or so to get us caught up but we shall see. Jeremy has another work trip which involves taking the computer so that makes it a lot harder to update stuff.

At the end of April Jaydon got a bit sick, bummer I didn't get the camera out before Higgins got up to leave (Higgins was also getting more sick around this time).

Kate found some shoes in her closet and had fun playing with a variety of looks.

My Birthday

I had a lovely birthday weekend. Jeremy had made some surprise plans and then he had to scramble because I was volunteering at Bingo night at Jaydon's school (a fairly unique way to spend my birthday). I enjoyed some lovely desserts, some times with friends and family and was in general spoiled (including only our second really sunny and warm day of the past 7 months)!

Baseball

Jaydon is playing baseball, he is thrilled (unless he has practice or a game when he wants to be watching the Mariners). He had his first game and we got a few pictures. He is doing well and having fun.

At his second game a few days later it was mighty cold and windy. Kate was hiding away in her very own little tent.

Happy Easter

We had a wonderful Easter. It was a super busy weekend for me working as the preschool director for our church and Jeremy did a ton of Dad duty helping with the kids while I worked. Jeremy ran the egg hunt on Easter morning, then he brought them to church and helped me in a classroom and then we headed up to the Leighton's for our annual Easter celebration.

We finally had a glorious day! It was so nice to be out in the sun. As always the kids had a fun egg hunt for themselves.

Then we went over to Russ and Allie's to see the climbing wall, ducks and all kids of fun stuff

We got to skype with Granny and Papa to open our Easter goodies from them too.

Another fabulous day with family and friends.

Reptile Man

We went Jaydon's school to see the Reptile Man. For those of you who know me well this is a huge step for me! Jeremy was out of town so I bit the bullet, it was great. We had fun and I am getting so much better with my former phobia of snakes. 

The Reptile Man does a presentation with a bunch of different animals.

Then he gets out his alligator, python and tortoise for pictures. The kids enjoyed holding the alligator!
