Visit with the Buckner-Hipkes

We got to host Uncle Jeff and Uncle Steve and their exchange student for the year Tobias!  It was a quick visit but fun to have our first overnight guests at our new house.  I didn't get good photos but we enjoyed some fun evening chatting, a good breakfast and a little bit of new play room fun time before they had to go to WWU to see Joelle and the WWU volleyball team!

Higgins

Ahh Higgins, how we love it when you get outside and fight with neighbor cats!  Dad had to tape up his owie pretty tightly and it was a bit hilarious to watch him slip around on the hard floors. Luckily it was just a bleeder of a cut and once it stopped bleeding he was saved from the injustice of the blue tape bandage.

Happy 4th Birthday Jaydon!

Jaydon keeps getting older and growing up!  It is kind of freaky at times but also a lot of fun to watch him grow and develop.  He is just over 40lbs and just under 3' 5".  All his health, growth and development stuff is right on track.  He LOVES the SEAHAWKS (go Hawks) and is often found running around pretending to be a player saying things like this "Russel Wilson gets the ball, passes to Lynch whose a champ and beast mode and touchdown!"  He also talks about interceptions and my favorite was when I was trying to teach him more players names and the next day he said Wilson threw a pass to Sydney Tate!  (For those of you who aren't fans, Sydney Rice and Golden Tate are two of our receivers). He also loves pirates and sword fighting.  He enjoys riding bikes and is now working on that two wheeler, though it is a bit heavy so riding up any form of a hill is a challenge.  He still enjoys reading lots of stories and loves his family and friends!  We have so much fun with our 4 year old boy!

Sarah Comes to Visit

My kids are loving living close to Sarah and her family.  We get to pick her up from school some days and then she will play with us and it is so great.

Chop Sticks

Thanks Great Aunt Darlene and Great Uncle Bill, Jaydon is loving his learning chop sticks and uses them frequently for all kinds of things!

Gavin turns 3

Having moved we are closer to a few friends we have and thus we got to go and help Gavin celebrate his 3rd birthday!  It was at a local splash park and Jaydon and Lucy sure had a great time playing in the water even though it wasn't that nice of a day.
