Grandma is a bit obsessed with fly fishing so it worked out well that we could run down to the river on a couple of the not so nice weather days and still allow her to get a bit of fishing in. Jaydon loved fishing too and he ended up getting mighty good casting his line in the water across the river.
Wearing his way to big rain gear and fishing. Papa and I both thought he would only be at it a short while so neither of us were quite prepared for the elements and staying out in them for over an hour!
Grandma letting Jaydon reel in her line with a fish on, it got away soon after.

Fish on!
Jaydon reeled in this pink for a long time. Papa helped keep the pole held up but Jaydon did all the reeling. He loved it!
A couple days later we came back and Lucy and Granny joined in. We even got Lucy her own pole as she would not be left out of such a fun activity.

This wraps up another fabulous Kodiak adventure. We are so fortunate we get a chance to go and visit each year. Thanks again Granny and Papa for a wonderful time!
