Sick kiddos

Unfortunately we had a nasty run of flu like symptoms at our house.  It seems from late Dec through early May we had more than our share of stomach viruses that led to lots of yucky times for everyone in the house.  

These photos were taken of the kids having a bit of Handy Manny show time to keep them low key during the midst of Lucy's three week off and on yuckiness.  So cute that they cuddled up together and bundled in blankets to watch a show.

Lucy Reading

Lucy loves to read stories, I have now found her reading to herself copying the words she knows are on the page in her own kind of paraphrase.  It is pretty cute, this was her rendition of Brown Bear, of course I missed the early part which was more entertaining because I had to run to get the camera.

I have really enjoyed seeing how Jaydon is progressing in his fine motor drawing and writing through preschool.

Snow Fun

We got to enjoy a random snow day and the kids had a blast playing for awhile.  Jaydon was a bit under the weather with an ear infection but still had fun.

Lucy even would take the sled up the neighbors driveway by herself, climb on a sled down.  She had a blast.  I love snow days!

Superbowl Sunday - Game Time!!

Oh what an amazing day!  It was so awesome to see our Seahawks win do decisively in the Superbowl.  After some very nerve-wrecking tense games to get there the team came through in a big way.

And yes, at the end of the game we totally sent the kids to the bedroom to watch a show on the IPad so we could enjoy the post-game celebrations and interviews!  It was a late night for the family but so worth it, such an experience.  I am so excited to have been able to finally celebrate my first Seattle (Men's) National Championship!
