Open House

The kids school does their open house in the spring. A cool way to really display so much work that they did throughout the year and spotlight how they have improved. It was amazing to walk through their classrooms and see practically every surface decorated with wonderful student work. It was so darn cool! I am blown away and so thankful for the time and effort the teachers and staff put in to make this such great night showcasing our kiddos!

Lucy Turns 7!

Happy Birthday Lucy! We enjoyed getting to celebrate Lucy and took her out for a fancy ice cream treat, opened some presents and enjoyed a fun park (yep outside at the park in late March) party with her friends. 

Lucy is such an amazing little girl. She is so strong and passionate. She loves horses, games, gymnastics, reading, playing with her friends and helping. She is always the first to volunteer to help with a job around the house and definitely plays the role of peace maker well. She is intelligent and kind, she has earned many awards for her work ethic, character and just general goodness. It is a pleasure to be this girl's mom! We love you Lucy-Lu!

 Kate goes to school with Brandon (and his older brother is in the same grade as Lucy at the same school). We enjoyed going to his party and celebrating his birthday.

Jaydon's Field Trip

I got the privilege of chaperoning Jaydon's class field trip to the Rhode's school (a school that was operating in our area in the 1800s). It was such an authentic and amazing day (minus the fact that Jaydon was a bit sick and probably should have been home but our class didn't have enough chaperones to make the trip work without me so he pushed through). The class
