M's Game

We headed to an M's game with Cashel and Dave and had a fabulous time.  It was Lucy's first game and Jaydon's second (though the first he can remember).  He has also become quite obsessed with baseball and so it was perfect!

Russel Wilson was there with Robert Turbin so while this photo was taken from the other end of the side of the field it was kind of fun.  We didn't get a W but we can hope for better results the next time we are at the park.

Hummingbird

I got sick (probably being back around high schoolers all day after having taken a few years off) and of course the night I went to bed at 5:30 we had a hummingbird visit.  J got some fun photos and we soon bought a hummingbird feeder to bring them around even more.

Cashel's First Communion

We headed down to Eugene for a quick weekend visit to celebrate our Goddaughter Cashel's, First Communion.  It was a lot of time in the car but the kids did so well it was great (especially knowing we will have another couple long car trips this summer).

We arrived Sat afternoon and Jaydon got right into playing catch with Peter!  They had a great time.  I love seeing the ball fly through the air in the lower pic.

It was a great opportunity to hang out with the Akana family and spend some quality time with them before they move to HI, I guess our next visit will be a plane trip instead of a road trip - bummer :-)

Ouch

Jaydon had a bit of an ankle bending fall and needed a bit of rest and ice.  He did enjoy being able to use the bag of corn like our friend Alex had used to ice his arm injury when he stayed at our house the week before.  Fortunately nothing more than a twist and he was just fine the next day.

Last day of preschool!

The last day of preschool for Jaydon was a fun park playdate!  I had to rush over from work and was a bit late but everyone had a great time and we enjoyed getting a low key chance to say good-bye to all our friends and teachers for the summer.

Happy Mother's Day

We had a wonderful Mother's Day celebrating as a family!  We went to a kids theater showing of Snow White and then enjoyed a lovely lunch out with Grandma, Gram and Auntie Jenny.

We got to enjoy chatting with Granny on Mother's Day.  Jaydon loves to try taking pictures of our skype sessions.

Fishing Derby

Grandma is part of a fishing club and she heard about the local fishing derby and had to sign Jaydon up.  Everyone had a great time but it sure was fast!  His limit was 3 and he caught them within about 10 minutes of starting out.  He of course loved it and was very proud of his fish, we enjoyed the trout lunch!

Preschool performance

We had a wonderful experience with Jaydon's preschool this year and it was such fun to watch him grow and develop throughout the year.  Here are some pics, I have a couple videos but they haven't shown for me so I will try putting a couple on here but they may or may not work.  It was a great end of the year concert!
