(Please enjoy the following guest-posting from Jeremy)
What an incredible day today is - the culmination of many, many months of anticipation. This morning we welcomed Lucy Ann into the world (21" 10lbs 8oz)! Although Sarah will undoubtedly elaborate at a later time (and perhaps share more photos), I will provide a brief glimpse into our day so far (Sarah and Lucy are currently napping).

We were just about to leave for the hospital, running a tad late, around 7:30am. Sarah has to be one of the most gorgeous pregnant ladies of all time (she's probably going to be mad that I wrote this, even though I am NOT the only person who makes this claim).

I, on the other hand, just look a wee bit daft...

"Little" Lucy shocked the delivery team with her size, especially since she was so big AND perfectly healthy. Apparently, Sarah just did a great job feeding her for the past 40 weeks. She's already moved her head around a bit, so it appears that she may be strong (like her older brother). No "newborn" clothing for this girl!

Jaydon was VERY excited to meet his little sister

Again, VERY excited

Lucy knew that Jaydon has really enjoyed his Thomas train set, and so she bought him a complementary set that included Percy. Jaydon was definitely excited for his gift, but - I think - still more excited to meet his little sister. He seems pleased to be a big brother.

We are VERY fortunate to have Grandma and Gram staying with us, and tending to Jaydon while we are in the hospital. If all goes according to plan, we should be heading home Wednesday morning. Sarah's sister's wedding is this Friday and Saturday, so we hope that she is recovered sufficiently to make the drive down. So far, so good! We look forward to introducing her to all of you in person. Love to all, The (Expanding) Smoldon Clan
