Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day! My kids had some wonderful school events which I got to be spoiled. Then Jeremy tackled some sink fixing for me while we took Grandma and Gram on a bike ride geocaching day to celebrate. It was wonderful, I somehow missed getting pics of the bike ride event!
Since my older two were off track they got to come with me to Kate's school to celebrate Mother's Day. It was great.

Lucy's class did a fun event before they went off track.

Due to budget cuts the schools don't have music programs (which sucks) but they do try their best to make up for it with a couple different performances each year that the classes do either by grade level, class or as a whole school. Lucy's class had a great Mother's Day program, they memorized and performed 6 songs and a poem. It was delightful.

Happy Mother's Day

We got a super special Mother's Day this year!  Granny Angie was in Seattle for a concert and we got to head down to visit her and enjoy some early dinner together.  (It was also my last morning of doing my church preschool job so that was nice too). I am not sure I remembered the good camera and I certainly didn't take great pictures but we enjoyed our day!

Kid's Fish-In

Another year, another kid's fish-in. It makes for a nice Mother's Day celebration with Grandma! This year we did a later time slot but rode our bikes to the park and Dad drove with all the gear. It worked out well and celebrated Gram as well for Mother's day since she vastly prefers biking to fishing.
Kate is still just a little young to participate but the older two both caught their limit (2 fish I think)
Dad and Grandma were helpers.

Success!

Mom's Day Extras

My kids were spoiling me with Mom's Day cards and projects, they both made a ton of little things and I had to snap a picture.

Happy Mother's Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day.  We didn't have too leisurely of a morning as I volunteered at Church in Lucy's classroom, after that I took the kids to the YMCA and got in a work out and was spoiled a bit in the afternoon with some relaxing and family time.
It sure is getting to a fun stage where the kids gifts are quite precious, they work hard on them and I love it.  Jaydon is really at a fun age with his writing progressing so fast!
The kids made these at church.
This video is just a snort snippet of the morning fun I was greeted with
