Girl's and their dolls

 Lucy and Kate are at a fun age where they can really play together. I often hear Kate yell "mom" and when I answer she says "no, you're not the mom, Lucy's the mom." Lot's of dolls and dress up and pretend happen with these girls.

Kate loves her baby dolls.  She and Lucy got into the bin of bottles I still have and she was using a bottle nipple as a binky.  She snuggled up with both her babies and pretended to sleep.  Then a few days later I found her in the baby crib.  If you ask her to smile she gives you the closed eye squishy face look.

 Lucy and Kate are pretty cute sisters. They have quite a bit of time to spend together in the morning while brother is at school and they have been really good at playing with each other.  Baby dolls, dressing up and snuggling for a show are some current favorites.

Jeremy and I were talking one day and we looked at each other and commented how being a parent truly brings meaning to our lives.  Here are some pics from some random days of the kids just being themselves.  It is a joy to be able to be the parents of Jaydon, Lucy and Kate.

Kate has started playing quite a bit more with baby dolls, for some reason the top stair is her favorite baby bed.  It is cute but a little hazardous.

Reading time!  Jaydon has spent the summer doing 30 minutes of reading most every day and the girls sometimes join in and read their own too.

The problem with trying to sneakily update the blog months after the picture was taken, I lose track of what was happening.  Clearly the girls were having some fun playing with dolls and utilizing the baby swing for themselves.  I think Kate may have climbed in the rocker by herself. Kate is definitely entering the baby stage, she loves all things baby!

Kate found Lucy's baby dolls and was having fun taking care of them.  I love watching her give the baby a bottle and play with them.

Well Lucy let it be known that she needed a baby doll.  She loved the babies at every house we ever go to with them so when we got home from our trip, Daddy just had to go buy her one.  She is in love!
