Kate's Party

We got to have a fun day celebrating Kate. She got ready for her party with sister bath time while Caly and Hobbes looked on. Then we headed to Rockin' Jump (a tramponline park for some play time with 8 kiddos total, 4 of Kate's friends and 2 of Lucy's), after enjoying our jump time we then brought everyone back to our house for cake, ice cream and presents. It was great and Kate had a wonderful time!
The girls enjoy their baths and the 'kittens' are very intrigued.

Trying out the fun things at the jumping place

In the back left Lucy is with her two friends, Then the front 5 kiddos (3 on left and 2 on right) are from Kate's party, the other kiddos are just a few who were in the pit at the time.
Dessert time

Make a wish!

Kids

Jeremy and I were talking one day and we looked at each other and commented how being a parent truly brings meaning to our lives.  Here are some pics from some random days of the kids just being themselves.  It is a joy to be able to be the parents of Jaydon, Lucy and Kate.
Pig-piling and wrestling, often leads to tears but this morning was more friendly than most.

Creating a haven for all the huge stuffed animals they own.

Kate has started playing quite a bit more with baby dolls, for some reason the top stair is her favorite baby bed.  It is cute but a little hazardous.

My bathtub goofs
Reading time!  Jaydon has spent the summer doing 30 minutes of reading most every day and the girls sometimes join in and read their own too.

Bubble Bath

Lucy got some new bubble bath as a late birthday present and enjoyed sharing her tub time with Kate.  They had a great time playing and 'cleaning' the tub. Jaydon and Lucy were hoping it would be just like Granny and Papa's bubble bath with their jetted tub on our last visit to Kodiak, while it wasn't that crazy it was definitely enough to please our kids.

Our time with Auntie and E

Auntie Jenny had a conference close by so she and E stayed at our house and I watched him while she was working.
We went for a night walk to see the Christmas lights
E and Kate took a bath, they got out and were getting ready for brushing teeth, E wasn't ready to be done, he climbed back into the bathtub fully dressed - it was pretty funny,
A favorite place to play, the kid drawer in the kitchen.

My messy eaters!

Cute E, he climbed up on the cookie bin to eat his pouch.

Kodiak: around the house

We flew up to Kodiak to spend a week and a half with Granny and Papa, it was wonderful!
Jeremy was on the first leg with us and then I did the last leg with the kids by myself so he could work in Anchorage.  It worked out quite well, especially when the older two both decided to doze on the flight to Kodiak

The little one was not so interested in sleeping on this flight.
Jaydon helped Papa put some rails on his deck

We taught the kids how to play dominoes

Lots of "go fish" and "slap jack" were played
Kate enjoyed the instruments
Papa removed my stitches and taught me how for future reference
Enjoying some yummy salmon
Granny gave her some pig tails and the pretty bows!
Granny and Papa's bathtub was a huge hit.  All the kids loved it!!
A little bubble bath goes a long way with the jets on.
