A week visit with Auntie, E and A

Auntie Jenny was bringing E and A over for a week while she observed some PE teachers on this side of the water. Jeremy was out of town for the week and so we had a fun time just the moms and kids. Grandma thankfully came and helped out too.  They were planning to arrive Monday but after seeing the weather report came on Sunday instead, good thing, we woke up Monday to a winter wonderland which all the kids really enjoyed playing in. For the rest of the week I neglected to take many pictures but we had fun doing different outings while Jen went to watch PE classes.

Baby Andre

I am thrilled to announce the arrival of my new nephew (and I think the last one that will be coming). Jen and L did well and the new little man arrived on Friday by C-Section.  He was bigger than his brother at birth falling in the mid 7lb range.  I was excited to get to meet him Sat. night. Everyone is doing really well.

I got a chance to make baby A a little cranky by taking lots of close up shots when he had been sleeping.

Kids

The problem with trying to sneakily update the blog months after the picture was taken, I lose track of what was happening.  Clearly the girls were having some fun playing with dolls and utilizing the baby swing for themselves.  I think Kate may have climbed in the rocker by herself. Kate is definitely entering the baby stage, she loves all things baby!

Cousins Owen and Penelope

 We were thrilled to get to host my cousin Marya and her family over the weekend.  We met baby Penelope who was almost two months old and the three cousins who are all about 2 months apart got to hang out (Owen, E and Kate).

Asia Visits

Asia came over and brought her awesome camera and some amazing food (that I could eat!!)  We enjoyed getting to hang out a bit and introduce her to our newest addition.

I was laughing so hard here because Kate had been making the funniest, not all that attractive faces. 

And the one obligatory photo of Asia holding the baby taken by me on my not so great camera, or just with not nearly as much skill!

Heading home

We were ready to head home after two nights in the hospital, the beds left a bit to be desired.

Jeremy was not a fan of the flash so early but it was too cute a pic to pass up.

First bath and some quiet time

After a wonderful, busy first day we enjoyed a little quiet time in the evening.  We had to wait on the first bath for awhile because they had to check Kaitlyn"s blood sugars for a number of hours due to her large birth size.  She didn't mind her bath and really enjoyed the heat lamp bed area!

We are so fortunate to have so many family and friends come and meet Kaitlyn!

Introducing Kate to her big brother and big sister.  Jaydon was a bit apprehensive the whole time because he is not a huge fan of hospitals and knowing I had an owie.  Lucy was so thrilled to have Baby Kaitlyn arrive, she is very much in love!
