October Outings

Applehill Adventures

We took Granny with us out to Applehill (a conglomerate of over 50 farms that put on fall festivities). Pony rides, crafts, yummy treats, hay/corn mazes, panning for gold and hiking were enjoyed.

 The Great Pumpkin Festival

The biggest event of the year that our city hosts is the Great Pumpkin Festival, we took a day to go see all the sites and partake in some fun fall activities

Kate wanted to do the pumpkin launch

The kids enjoyed a couple rides

The petting zoo was a big hit

Lots of pictures and fun in the fall (which still felt a bit like summer).

Kate's pumpkin patch field trip

I got to take Kate on her school field trip. We had a fun day at the farm

Getting to hold a baby chick

Hay ride out to pick her pumpkin

 The perfect one!

Then she got to visit with all the animals

 Enjoy the mini hay maze

Picture wither her school group and one of her 'besties' Sophia.

Fairy Tale Land

We took Grandpa to visit Fairy Tale Land one afternoon

April Adventures

We had a busy April! The kids and I took a quick trip to Leavenworth over spring break, Jaydon started his baseball season, all the girls in the family got head lice (lucy's school had quite the set of huggy kindergarten girls who kept sharing), a school dance, a birthday a broken foot, some sunshine fun and a little bit of silliness thrown in.

Eating ice cream in Leavenworth (minus the fact that it was pretty cold outside)

Jaydon was the catcher in these photos

Oh the joy of lice

The kids school dance (where Jaydon broke his foot jumping from the play structure).

The one photo from my birthday - mostly eaten birthday cake!

Not a happy guy with 2 maybe 3 broken metatarsals in his foot. Poor kiddo, he was hurting but it took us a few days to get him to the Dr. because sometimes you just can't tell how much pain he is really in. Unfortunately it meant he had to miss the last month of his baseball season.
