Lucy's Field Trip to The Farm

It was Lucy's turn to have a field trip to The Farm.  We had a fun morning adventure.  Her favorite part was definitely seeing the animals!
Silly side grin, she has a bit of a cross bite and has started making it more pronounced in pictures - orthodontia is in our future.

Proud of her pumpkin
Trying out the games and activities, bouncy thing, horse swing and duck races.

Animals!

Even better, animals she can touch.

Kate with a baby

Kate found Lucy's baby dolls and was having fun taking care of them.  I love watching her give the baby a bottle and play with them.

Lucy can ride a two wheeler

Grandma loves to teach her grandkids how to ride bikes. She took Lucy one afternoon and they had a good time riding down the same hill Jaydon learned on.  Lucy was really good on her scoot bike and had learned to pedal with training wheels so she took to it really fast.  Now we have two two-wheeler riding crazies in our world - watch out Kate, Grandma's coming :-)  (Grandma was the only one with Lucy so the videos and picture aren't the greatest quality but they work).

High 5 selfie after a job well done.

Last M's game of the year

Jaydon got M's tickets for his birthday from Uncles Jeff and Steve.  We wound up exchanging the date for the last Sunday of the year which was kids appreciation day.  It was great.  On the bus a couple even gave us some extra tickets that upgraded us to the terrace level.  We had a good time, Jaydon loves getting cotton candy at the games and the seats were great.  No prizes this time but maybe next year!

Pumpkins in the park

Another weekend activity find from Parentmap.  This time we went to a local park to make a scarecrow, do some pumpkin activities and then play at the playground and ball field.
Gorgeous day with our little munchkins, Lucy and Kate are next to the scarecrow we made

Dad and Kate
Jaydon wanted to play baseball
Swings and playground first

Then onto the baseball field!

Safe!

First job for the Tooth Fairy

Jaydon lost his first tooth!  It was a bummer that Dad was out of town but it was still pretty exciting.  Jaydon was eating a piece of crusty french bread and all of a sudden said "why is my bread all red" well sure enough he had lost his tooth, it came out right in the bread and he swallowed it.  The nice thing was the bread absorbed some of the blood so it was really no big deal.  No pain, no tears just excitement to lose his first tooth and a little worry about whether the tooth fairy comes when there is no tooth to collect.  The answer is yes, Jaydon let a nice note for the tooth fairy and the tooth fairy left a note back with a silver dollar!  Pretty cool.

Football and Bloodmoon

We had a wonderful day with our neighbors, watching the Seahawks get their first win, playing football and seeing the bloodmoon.  It was a full day of activities and fun and we enjoyed spending it with the people we live around.
Cul de sac football during half time and at the end of the Hawks game

We didn't get any great pics of the moon, it wasn't quite late enough and we had to get the kids into bed but here was our best attempt.  It was pretty cool watching this with 20 other people at the end of the street.
