Jaydon's school work

Jaydon comes home from school with some very cool stuff. I love seeing his work and what he is learning about. I continue to be amazed at how quickly they learn.

I had a wonderful Mother's Day. We didn't have too leisurely of a morning as I volunteered at Church in Lucy's classroom, after that I took the kids to the YMCA and got in a work out and was spoiled a bit in the afternoon with some relaxing and family time.

It sure is getting to a fun stage where the kids gifts are quite precious, they work hard on them and I love it. Jaydon is really at a fun age with his writing progressing so fast!

Lost Ball

Jeremy and Jaydon were playing baseball in the family room. Jaydon had a solid hit but when they tried to find the ball it had seriously disappeared. We all got in the spirit of looking for the ball, I mean how hard could it be, they just had it and knew where it was hit. We were definitely puzzled at our lack of success and finally we found the ball, here is a picture sequence to show you where it ended up.

Somehow it lodged itself under a ceiling in the doll house, crazy! Every time we looked at/around the doll house we didn't think to look up inside it.

Flag Football

Jaydon started playing flag football through the local Y. We sure have enjoyed the Y sports programs for just a fun way to get out and be exposed to a bunch of different sports. He is enjoying football but it is baseball season for the Mariners so he is definitely obsessed with baseball right now.
