Lucy's horse camp

Lucy got to attend horse camp again and loved it. She had Walter for the second year (though if she does it again she will move up to a much bigger horse). We got to go and enjoy her rodeo day.

Even the cousins got to come see her ride.

Sophie and Xander's Birthday Extravaganza

As always we had a fabulous time celebrating Sophie and Xander's birthdays. This year a cool zoo man came with a huge collection of assorted reptiles and other animals that we all got to hold. Jeremy and the girls love it and want to hold everything, Jaydon was not all that interested and we got him touching one animal or so. And...for those who knew me when I was younger you may find this shocking but although I don't have photo evidence (my friend Asia does, I swear) I also held a snake!

Thanks Asia and Craig for hosting us and for such a wonderful party. Thanks Sophie and Xander for celebrating another cool birthday.

The 4th Festivities

We enjoyed some nice pool weather around the 4th and went to the big downtown parade to celebrate our Independence Day.

We got to watch the parade with Jaydon's best friend (from preschool) Miles and his family.

The pipes for Jeremy, he wasn't able to make it to the parade so I took the video I knew he would enjoy.

The Joys of June

We had a couple weeks in June when things slowed down and we thought we would be able to enjoy a pretty relaxing summer. The end of the school year always has some fun activities (and teaching again meant I had a lot of work to finish up before the year ended). We found out on June 19th, that we would be relocating to CA so from that point on our few weeks of down time were in the rear view mirror and we were in for quite a ride the next few months.
The girls love getting to have some screen time and share their shows.

We had a huge hail storm in early June, it was crazy and fun.

Father's Day with Daddy! We took the ferry across to see my Dad and sister and enjoy a meal (and of course really good ice cream)
Lucy's kindergarten celebration, she did such an awesome job this school year and we are so proud of her, we were also super lucky to have Mrs. Homchick as her teacher (who Jaydon had in 1st grade).

End of the season gymnastics performances

Kate getting her medal

Argh, so bummed for the blurry pic of Lucy getting her medal

Familiar family pose at the end of the season

Jaydon had his first sleep over at a friends house, this is him napping the next day (which he never does) because they had such a great time staying up most of the night!
