Early August Adventures

In the crunch to get this blog updated I am going to crunch a lot of posts into one.
Lily got her Lion Shave again and is a happy girl.

Note that this picture is in the early August category, that is because it took that long for Jeremy to open his birthday gifts (from July 14th).
We threw a birthday party for Jaydon in early Aug because we knew we would be moving and not have met many people to have a party for him in CA. Our neighbor Adam put his lineman skills to good use helping us hang up a shade tent.

Jaydon requested his usual cul de sac party.
Great pic of Uncle Greg and Auntie Wendy
Lots of family and friends were able to come celebrate Jaydon and say good-bye

He requested pie for dessert and Nona Lainie came through with a homemade cherry and berry pie!

Our friends the Lambs made it after a soccer tourney, Kate and Alexa were loving feeding the twins their bottles.

Again trying to cram in as much as possible we met up with cousins Brenna and Caedan at the horse farm where Lucy did camp. We enjoyed a trail ride, then went to the nearby pool. Fun last day hanging with our family.

Jaydon was at a baseball camp during this week. So he missed out but I am thinking he much preferred playing baseball to riding a horse.

Didn't get any pics actually playing in the pool but we enjoyed it!

The day after riding horses and swimming my mom took us to a horse barn in Snohomish where one of her former colleagues has a horse and took us around. The girls continued to be in heaven as the horse crazy kids they are.

The famous horse at the barn Rembrandt.

One lonely picture of hitting the jumping place with our friends Miles and Lena before we moved.
I told Kate she needed to try packing a bag of the stuff we would need on our vacation before we got to CA. She got this pile together. It was better than the day before when she emptied every single item from her drawers worrying that not everything would come with us on the move.
Saying good-bye to the Angelos kids. Tim and Alex were our ring bearers when they were young and Sarah was just over 1. It has been so wonderful being close to them the past few years, we will miss them a lot.

Saying good-bye to Leo (a neighbor boy who Jaydon loved playing with.

The 5 of us before we drove away for good!

Sad faces with neighbors we will miss.

Driving out of our cul de sac for the last time. Boo hoo!
