Mariners FanFest

We enjoyed going to the M's FanFest for our second year in a row.  It was a bit chilly but the kids had a good time.  

Visiting the Hall of Fame area, we are planning to go to a game on the Griffey Jr. induction weekend at Safeco, it should be fun.

Hanging out in a real major league dug out, pretty cool.  Jaydon is definitely excited for baseball season to start.

My sickies

We have had quite a stretch of kiddos being sick this winter and I decided to take a friends advice and move a mini mattress into our room next to our bed to get through a couple of the hard nights.  It was definitely helpful with Lucy throwing up all night one night.  After they were feeling better they all decided to play on it a bit.

Jaydon plays basketball

We signed Jaydon up for basketball this winter and I volunteered to be a coach.  Both of us had a great time and we look forward to doing it again.  This was his first game and getting pictures of youth basketball players while the game is happening is a challenging feat.  Thanks Grandma for trying to snap a few on my camera.

It is pretty chaotic but still a lot of fun and Jaydon had a great time and learned a lot, just what we were hoping for.

Paint and Play

Lucy discovered her swim suits and is going through a phase of wearing them daily.  I would be freezing but she seems to be content (inside of course).

We got out the finger paints one day and let Kate have her first go at it, she mostly wanted to try eating them and then wasn't all that amused when she found out it wasn't food.  Eventually she got into the swing of things and had some fun.

 

Sleep and Play

Lucy and Jaydon switched beds for a time and one morning I found Lucy sleeping at the end of the bed.  She continues to suck her thumb and while I haven't had thoughts of working too hard to break the habit we will see how that comes about in time.  

Kate loves to climb up on the loft bed and play with toys, she and sister were being good mommies to their dollies.  Well, Lucy was being a good mommy, Kate was drinking the baby's bottle.

Ha, the problem with taking so long to update my blog, I had the pictures and the post label filled out but as I look back I have no idea why I was going to post them.  Oh well, Kate was being cute, Jaydon was sick and Lucy was being silly.

Lucy's new Leotard

Lucy is loving her gymnastics class. She also loves her new leotard!  She had her first little show, where she did some moves with her class in front of an audience at the Children's museum.  It was fun and she was very nervous but then got into it and did a great job.
