Leavenworth Weekend

We had a wonderful weekend in Leavenworth, as always.  We got in a little later than anticipated on Friday and had to leave Saturday night late so we could get home for my job Sunday early morning.

Snow

Woo Hoo, snow day!  We were going to take Jaydon out of school today because it is the start of Leavenworth weekend. We woke up to snow and had a day off anyway. The only bummer was I still had an appointment to get to that morning and Jeremy had to get snow tires on his car which ended up being a fiasco and taking forever.  It was beautiful and fun.
Lucy will play in it for hours!  Here she is with some of the neighbor kids.

Our neighbors built a huge snowman and played.

Kate with her baby

Kate loves her baby dolls.  She and Lucy got into the bin of bottles I still have and she was using a bottle nipple as a binky.  She snuggled up with both her babies and pretended to sleep.  Then a few days later I found her in the baby crib.  If you ask her to smile she gives you the closed eye squishy face look.

Baby Andre

I am thrilled to announce the arrival of my new nephew (and I think the last one that will be coming). Jen and L did well and the new little man arrived on Friday by C-Section.  He was bigger than his brother at birth falling in the mid 7lb range.  I was excited to get to meet him Sat. night. Everyone is doing really well.

The pic sent to us right after he was born.  They both look great!
I got a chance to make baby A a little cranky by taking lots of close up shots when he had been sleeping.

Cookie Day

Another successful Cookie Day. We had the oven turned off by 3:45pm and had 12 different goodies to pass around (literally hundreds of cookies). The problem this year was that Jeremy traveled for almost 2 weeks straight after we had cookie day so all those cookies were consumed (mostly by me) before they made it to neighbors!  It was delicious and dangerous all at the same time.

Enjoying our traditional taco meal after the day was done.

Coyote

One morning we got a text from a neighbor telling us there was a coyote right out in front of our house.  We looked out the window and were able to watch him for a bit before he headed out the cul de sac again.  Jeremy went out and took a couple pictures.  There have been a lot of sightings recently of him in our neighborhood. I hope he has a good spot to live.
