Jeremy was again swamped with work and finals so I decided to find something to do with the kids. Fortunately for us Gram was able to come along and we found the Snohomish festival to be an awesome outing for the morning.

The big viking blew his horn to announce the start, you can see Jaydon covering his ears and then we are off!
Lucy got a bit freaked by the noise of the horn so she was whimpering a bit and decided she needed to hold my hand on the run.
Finishers! Herm the Germ handed out goodie bags to every kid who finished (it was about a 150 yard dash), the kids were thrilled!
After the run we got ourselves a nice spot under a tree to watch the parade!
The kids got so much candy thrown their way it was incredible, Jaydon started trying to give some away to the other kids around us.
The dancing horses were pretty neat
But the sauerkraut band was by far our favorite!
