Grandma and Gram got Kaitlyn this new toy for Christmas a couple days early, it was a big hit and worked out really well to allow us to have her play happily while we got some things done getting ready to host lots of events over the few days.

Leighton Christmas
Since the Terps party took us up north we decided to stay over night at the Leighton's which worked out perfectly to celebrate an early Christmas the next morning with the Leighton/Chambers family. The kids had such a wonderful time playing with each other and opening gifts and enjoying a wonderful brunch. We look forward to this new tradition starting annually.

The Terps Christmas Party
We are so excited that our friends were able to move back to this side from Spokane! Not only did we miss them but they throw pretty amazing parties and we are so excited to get to hang out more often.
Julie went crazy with getting presents for all the kiddos, it was so much fun for everyone.

We didn't even get pics of the food and game time for the adults but we were too busy having fun.
Family Time
Heading into the holidays is always a bit crazy and Jeremy had to be out of town the week before so when he returned he got to have some fun family time with the kiddos.
Family story time (with Higgins, who definitely missed Dad)
I think they made a train but it might have been a bus and they had a great time playing around.

Kaitlyn is 2 months!
Kate is 2 months old! She came in at 13lbs 2oz so continues to be a big girl. She is doing so well! It has been quite fun to see her smile come out and brighten the room. She is a snuggler, she wants to sleep on me or with me all the time and I am letting her have these first few months to do just that. We will have to battle at some point about sleeping away from me but so far it has been so easy and nice to just curl up with her and we both get rest. She adores her big siblings and watches them and especially enjoys hearing them. In particular she may enjoy hearing them even more, she tends to nap better out in the midst of everything and silence isn't her best friend. She continues to eat well but I am still off dairy and soy protein. She has some fun back time looking at a mirror and toys above her and does fine with tummy time in little spurts. She is strong and we certainly don't have to hold her like a newborn. We are really loving our complete little family and the time we are having together.

Jaydon's preschool performance
Jaydon had his school Christmas performance. Jeremy had to be out of town so we took Bob our neighbor as an additional family member. Jaydon did pretty well this year and I am glad we got to see his performance.
| HAHA, Kate wasn't so sure about this whole thing |
Wow, a video may have worked!

Puzzles
Dad had to travel to PA for a week so the kids and I were hanging at home. It was so nice that we discovered some fun holiday puzzles. Lucy has started getting into it and Jaydon is really figuring it out with trickier puzzles, we had some fun.
