Seussa-Palooza

Jaydon had a fun night at school for a Seussa-Palooza event. He got to take home free books and all 3 of them even got a cookie. It was a lot of fun and so great to see the different activities the school sponsors.

 Jaydon is really doing well in school. He has started writing more and I love reading it. Here are a few love letters to his Mom and Dad

And this last one is from Lucy. She colored the top one with her name and then she colored the bottom one with her stuffed animal Doby holding the crayon and she even wrote his name on it, she cracked me up.

Cats

 Lucy snuggled Higgins and a stuffed dog snuggled Lily, I'm pretty sure Higgins was the happier cat.

Opening Day

This has been a cold and wet spring. Jaydon had an opening day of baseball event for little league. I'm glad I took the girls to run errands and only showed up for about 10 minutes because it was not a lot of fun. He is super excited about baseball though and I am so glad he gets to play a sport he has such passion for.

Jaydon's school concert

Jaydon had an all school concert and it was really quite good. The first graders performed whistle while you work and put on a happy face. They had fun and he did a great job. Unfortunately the only videos I got were super long so they won't fit on the blog.  His music teacher does a great job of getting each class to perform 2 songs that are fun and well done. It was great and I look forward to many more.

KIDS Photography

We are so lucky to know the people who take our preschool school pictures. They always let us bring in all the kids and take pics of them. It is wonderful, this year they even told Jeremy and me to hop in. How fun to have these memories.  Jaydon was a bit sick this morning so he wasn't feeling great and Lucy's individual picture was taken at a different time with her class so it wasn't on our cd, took a picture of it to put on here but it isn't quite the same quality.

Last Basketball Game and Banquet

Jaydon and I paired up to do basketball again this year. I really loved coaching this season and the amount of improvement I saw in all the kids as amazing. It was a great group to work with and really fun to be part of the Y sports.

Jaydon did a great job. He really improved on his dribbling and rebounding.

I thought I had a video of Jaydon dribbling and shooting during the game but I guess not. Don't blink or you will miss Jaydon shooting right at the beginning of this video, then it is just me trying to wrangle them all in to do a cheer before we begin.
