Kate's 1st Birthday Party

We had a wonderful day celebrating Kate!  We watched some Seahawks football, had some family and friends over and enjoyed some good food.

My friend Asia put together a really fun field trip the the Oxbow farm.  The kids had a great time playing, learning and eating the six different parts of a plant.

 And, we have first steps!  Kate has been standing really well and going up and down from floor to standing on her own but has been hesitant to step without holding on.  Here is a pic of her first mini foot shuffle.

Weekend in Spokane

We took a quick weekend trip over to Spokane to visit with family, it was wonderful. Every time we go I always wish we made a point to do it more often.  We got to celebrate my Uncle Greg's birthday and visit with Jeremy's Dad and his family also.

Uncle Jeff was coming to stay at our place just when we were going over to Spokane.  We are glad we got to see him for a couple hours and he was here when Kate got her birthday crown in the mail.
