Backstop

We have such awesome neighbors, not only do we spend a lot of time just hanging out in the cul-de-sac spending time together we also get spoiled with cool things like this backstop. Jaydon is starting to hit the ball a bit farther so we had to change home plate to the other side of our cul-de-sac to avoid hitting cars and windows, but that meant the balls would roll and get lost in the messy garage.  Bob is so handy he just whipped up this backstop.  It is so cool!

Beach Field Trip

Jaydon had a class field trip to the Frog Lady and Dad was able to take him, the girls and I met them just at the end to play at the beach and have a picnic lunch before heading home.  We had a great afternoon playing around!

Kate and Higgins

Like Lucy, Kate is love with the cats!  She will squeal in delight when they come near enough for her to touch and get her wrists and ankles moving quickly (her way of showing excitement or distress).  Higgins has days where he capitulates and lets her love him.  Lily is less excited about it but sleeps on Kate's changing table so also puts up with it during diaper changes.  I loved these photos of Kate with Higgins, it reminds me of ones with from a similar age so I added a couple of those at the bottom.

Swim Lessons

I signed us all up for swim lessons trying to get ready for the summer and get us back into water form.  It was twice a week for four weeks and we had a good time.  Kate loved her first foray into swimming and did great floating and getting her head in.  Lucy continued to love being in the water and is floating well and working on actually swimming.  Jaydon is improving all the time but water is not his favorite activity, his dad is incapable of floating and Jaydon is a bit like his Dad in this aspect.  I enjoy swimming with the kids and really do look forward to them all being swimmers who are confident in the water!

Thanks to Gram for coming and watching a couple times and taking some pictures so we could remember our adventures.

Murder Mystery Dinner

For my birthday Jeremy took me out on a lovely date to the Murder Mystery Dinner.  It was a lot of fun and a great chance to get a quick break and have Kate be put to bed by someone else for the first time.

Visit with the Hammers

We really enjoyed getting to have my cousin Marya, Stephen, and their baby Owen come by for a quick visit.  Marya and I both have some food restrictions with nursing but we were able to eat some delicious donuts that met our requirements and then spent some time enjoying the glorious morning. Kate and Owen enjoyed chillin'

Stephen was great playing baseball with Jaydon, this is quite the series of pics showing them battle each other.

Selfies

We used the IPad to take some selfie group shots, we had quite a bit of fun playing around.

I went back on the IPad later and found Lucy had taken a few of herself!
