Kodiak: activities

We enjoyed the sun playing baseball (the field right near Granny and Papa's house is amazing) and getting to know Jake, the horse.  We watched the Mariners and even got to celebrate Jeremy's birthday a couple days earlier before we flew home.  Such an amazing vacation!!
Granny and Jaydon talking strategy
Papa giving Lucy a handstand around the bases
Kate sat and hung out on the pitchers mound while we played
Granny's school secretary Robin had us come to her house to visit her horse Jake.
Lucy was particularly taken by Jake
All the kids got a chance to sit on Jake

Jeremy and Kate feeding Jake some grass
Go M's, we tried two nights in a row to get on TV and were successful the second night!

Unfortunately we couldn't get the win that night but had fun watching and rooting
Surprising Dad with an oreo ice cream cake!

Look really carefully, we even got to see a volcano erupting (or interrupting as Jaydon often says) as we flew from Kodiak to Anchorage.  It was pretty cool.
Driving home from Seatac with two new to us car seats due to a luggage snafu, worn out from such a grand vacation!
