Communication

I have not done the greatest job of writing down all the funny things that Jaydon will say!  I know people frequently say make sure you write it down because you won't remember and sure enough as cute as it was at the time you don't remember.  So I have missed imparting many verbal gems to you which I am bummed about but I did make a little list of things I remembered so I will try and at least record something to remember later on.

"But mom, you're 33 and dad is 33" - Jaydon will use this to try and get me to do whatever daddy does.  Whenever I try and beg out of doing amazing feats of strength airplane or helicopter rides by saying that is something Daddy will do I get this line. 

"When are we going to poison the rags?" Jaydon was going to help me clean and I had given him his rag and he was anxious to use the squirt bottle of water and vinegar which is kept with all the household cleaners that we call poison.

"Jake and the numberland pirates!" Jaydon enjoys the TV show Jake and the Never-Land Pirates but he always seems to call them numberland pirates (after another leap frog show he had enjoyed).  He also likes to call Mr. Smee, Mr. Speed

"I'm going to color Jesus" Jaydon was looking through a coloring book of Tarzan and called Tarzan Jesus.  Long hair, wearing a cloth, not bad thought process.

Then just a few words he always says wrong which crack me up:  yellow is of course lellow like many kids do.  hamburger is hambuburger in our house and popsicle is popsikicle.

As for Lucy and communicating - she is saying some words like up and mama and dada, brother but she blows her lips to make a helicopter sound for when she wants a helicopter ride or sees one and she is signing quite a bit.  She signs all done, more, cat, food, water, drink, pet (as in to pet an animal), banana, please, sorry, dog, baby, berries, milk, hat and possibly some more that I am not remembering.  I do still really love baby signing because she really can communicate with us what she wants at an age when saying it all would be hard.
