The main reason we wanted to fly to Spokane for the weekend was for Jeremy to see his biological dad again for the first time since he was 8 years old and to see his biological grandma who is recovering from some surgeries and health issues. It was an amazing visit and we are so glad we got to spend some time visiting with a part of our family we hadn't been able to introduce to Jaydon and Lucy yet. We were also lucky to travel for Great-Grandma Sue's birthday so it was a double win.
Here Lucy and below Lucy and Jaydon getting a first photo with Grandpa Jim.
We had a small celebration for Great-Grandma Sue and Cece and Jaydon enjoyed eating their peach pie at the window sill.
Jaydon and Lucy enjoyed all the tools that Great-Grandma Sue had to help her out, she has a couple pincher tools, a long shoe horn and a dressing aid, for Jaydon it was one giant sword fight of fun.
What's a birthday without some ribbon!
And here are a bunch of family photos: Four generations of love!
Jeremy and his Dad, look at the resemblance.
The whole gang that was there to sing Happy Birthday!
It really was a special trip and we feel so blessed to have spent the time together. We have been wanting to see Grandpa Jim for a long time and now we just have to figure out a time to also meet Grandma Jo, Aunt Megan and Uncle Patrick.
