Cookie Delivery

We finally got around to delivering cookies to the neighbors, thankfully I was able to whip up a couple fresh batches.  We all had a great time visiting our neighbors and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.

Working hard to carry the goodies.
I love this pic of Lucy - she looks so grown up here!
Meanwhile Jaydon really just wanted to play some football in the cul de sac.

The Arrival

With my job currently being the preschool director for our church, we were finally around to celebrate The Arrival with our congregation.  A special time where everyone around the church takes a few weeks to collect an offering which is collected and used for a bunch of local and international charities.  This year we raised $85,000! Part of the service on Arrival Sunday is having the kids come up front in the main service and sing a song. It was a pretty fun event.

No Snow Fun

We woke up to a totally minuscule dusting of snow on the streets and the kids ran out with their snow gear and tried sledding down our neighbors driveway.  It was hilarious to watch them not be successful and then move on to just sliding their bodies and eventually just playing chase.  Pretty cute.

I enjoyed seeing the belly races when they gave up on the sleds.

Lucy's Christmas Concert

Lucy did a great job at her Christmas Concert. She enjoys singing and definitely knows the hand motions.  Unfortunately all the videos are on the actual camcorder but here are a couple pics.

Work Fun

My work does an amazing secret santa day.  All the staff get to got to the mall for a couple hours to shop for our secret santa and then we reconvene at a nice restaurant for a gift exchange.  I didn't get to attend all of it because Lucy had her Christmas concert the same day but it sure was fun.
When we first got to the mall we decided to take advantage of the giant animals you can ride on. We had a blast racing them around for our 10 minutes.

While the adults were 'playing' our kids had a Christmas party as well.  Lucy and Kate were thrilled with their reindeer noses and antlers. I am so lucky that this job I am in for this season of life comes with childcare!

Kate reading to E

Cousin E was hanging out for a couple days after Leavenworth weekend and one morning he and Kate were looking at books.  I soon found Kate behind him trying to read him stories, it was super cute and hilarious because he of course couldn't see the book at all.
