Yardwork

We had such beautiful weather Sunday afternoon that we all headed outside.  I worked on some yardwork, Jeremy carved the pumpkin, Kate hung out in her exersaucer (she is crawling around into everything so it is now the only way we can get a lot of work done outside with her around too).  Lucy worked with our neighbor Ida and Jaydon helped Jeremy.  Cash and Higgins were even out enjoying the weather and getting to know one another.

With the wonderful sunny weather we have been enjoying we have spent a lot of our time outside.  During the morning we will have an adventure to a park and then after lunch and some rest we play in our yard.  Coloring with chalk, riding bikes, squirting water, and various other fun things.  It has been great!

We bought some new water squirters and filled our buckets out front because I leave the water table on the back porch where the kids can come in or out as they please.

You may wonder why my kids are wearing helmets when no bikes can be seen.  Well, because Jaydon loves to ride his scoot bike so much it is a habit to put his helmet on right when we go out and he will almost always start out riding bikes.  Lucy has of course learned this and she immediately wants her helmet on!  She has a little push tricycle that she can't quite reach the pedals on but she has a great time riding around on it while I push her.  So, for the rest of the day they both tend to have helmets on, that's how we roll!
