RV Vacation

Grandpa Don came into town for a couple weeks and we decided to do an RV vacation heading over to the North Eastern part of the state.  We even got Nana to come along because baby Ferris (my new nephew) arrived early so she could make it back in time.  The six of us set out in a rented C25 RV and had a great trip.  These are just a couple photos of in the RV!  The kids really did travel well though Lucy got quite tired of her car seat on long driving days.

Lucy and I slept together to keep her a bit more quiet, after lots of late nights she slept in and I couldn't resist this photo.

RV Trip Day 4 - Spokane

We headed into Spokane to wrap up our vacation spending time with my Uncle Greg, Aunt Rebecca and visiting my cousin Cheyenne, her husband Adam and their daughter Clara.  We got to spend time at the farm and then also head into see my cousins new house and play in their kiddie pool.
The kids had a great time playing together and enjoying the sunny day!

Clara got a launch from cousin Jeremy

Lucy enjoyed the running hose

Jaydon was practicing his diving in skills

After some time in the sun and a picnic lunch ice cream sounds great!

Relaxing on the patio at my Aunt and Uncles house.

Huey did not like the kids much but he sure warmed up when I discovered Lucy was feeding him chips behind the table.

Some fun bouncing time with grandpa

Lucy really has become obsessed with baby dolls.  If there is a doll anywhere around she will play with it for a long time, here she was putting it in the booster to give it food.

And of course what is vacation without some food splurging.  Yes this is the second round of ice cream that day!

And after all that ice cream and play time a bubble bath was quite necessary!

We had such a great time on our trip.  We headed back across the state the next day and even got to stop in Issaquah for a quick visit with the Citros on our way home.  We are so glad we got to see so many friends and family along the way and enjoy such a great long holiday weekend.

RV Trip Day 3 - Elk

Uncle Jeff and Steve live on a glorious private lake in Elk and we had never made it out to see them so we stopped by on our way down from Metaline Falls to Spokane.  We had a great time playing in the lake and then having a true camping dinner!
The lake was wonderful, Grandpa swam all the way across, Nana got in and enjoyed the refreshing water and the kids both loved it.  The dock was perfect for diving off and Jeremy and Grandpa had a great time playing football off the dock into the water!  So much fun!

Jaydon had been asking about camping the whole trip and I think for him he didn't think we were camping until he got to have some marshmallows.  Luckily Jeff and Steve have a great fire pit and we were able to roast hot dogs and then introduce our kids to the wonders of SMORES!

The kids enjoyed the hammock

mmmmm, sticky marshmallow mess!

First bite of smore

That face means it's a hit!
