Jeremy had to work all day on a beautiful Saturday so I looked online to find a fun kids activity. There was a picnic at the park event at the local park we had just discovered the previous week. The festivities started with a 1 mile fun run for kids! I decided to take the kids and we had a good time.

It was a very low key fun run with only about 20 competitors but it was great.
Jaydon running! He was quite a trooper but I definitely had to encourage him with bunny crackers at the turns to keep him going (he sat down once for a very short bit). I am not sure of our finishing time but we did it! And Jaydon even got a blue ribbon for being first in his age!
