Poor Jaydon, he had to put up with a haircut from mommy and it is sure a work in progress. The good thing is that his hair grows back quickly and he is too young to really know or care, the bad thing is I really did butcher it in places. When I took him for his first official salon haircut I tried paying close attention to what the stylist did so I could try and do it at home. I figure I am really not going to spend $14 bucks every time he needs a haircut. I bought the scissors (because before I had just been using the nail cutting scissors that came in his baby kit) and a spray bottle. I had a old work out jacket that was the right material and we used a chip clip to keep it closed. Throw on some Signing Time videos and he was good to go. So, now I just have to practice a bit to try and eliminate the big mistakes.
