Park visit with Sarah

Enjoying our what will probably be last sunny, warm days for awhile.  We took Sarah to a nearby park after school one day.

Sarah does such an awesome job helping Lucy and Jaydon but it was sure nice to have her around to push Lucy on the swings

First day of preschool

Jaydon had his first day of preschool and he had a great day!  No tears this year and he was definitely ready to go and have some fun.  So far in reports snack is his favorite time of day but I have heard cookies have been involved so I guess I know why!

Art project - day 1

Finger Paint Fiasco

I had just brought the art stuff upstairs (I figured hard wood was better than carpet for that), then of course something happened and I was helping Jaydon in his room and in walked Lucy.  She was covered in red finger paint and all I can say is thankfully she managed to walk in the hallway and into Jaydon's room without getting any on the carpet.  She was covered and the wood floor still may have a reddish tinge in places but we managed to get cleaned up. 

Stange Family BBQ

We enjoyed our annual family BBQ out at Jen and L's house, it was a great day with great food and great company!

Cul-de-sac BBQ #2

Well one day after having our new cul-de-sac bbq we headed up to host our old cul-de-sac bbq.  It was so great to see everyone again and hang out in the street as we have for the past three years!  We also look forward to more years of fun visiting this event.

Just before we had to head out Lucy got a sled ride from ZZ while Jaydon and Emmett were trying to squeeze in all the play time they could.  We sure miss our old friends!  Thanks for such a fun day!

Cul-de-sac BBQ #1

We loved that a little less than two weeks after we moved into our new house we were at a cul-de-sac BBQ at our neighbors house!  Jaydon took the camera and I didn't even touch it.  The photos or courtesy of him and our other neighbor Bryna!
