Minnesota Vacation - part 5 - last day

As always our trips seem so short. We got a ton of snow the last night we were here so we bundled up the kiddos for a little snow time in the morning before catching our flight out. Then we had a busy day of traveling home - Granny and Papa were on the same flight so that made it nice.
One last picture of Kate all bundled up. Lucy brought her a unicorn to help her feel better being almost immobile.
Now for some playtime at the airport.  1) I love airports with kid areas! 2) Traveling with Papa means the kids get spoiled with rides that their parents wouldn't spend money on :-)

Haha, Jeremy and me as Vikings.
Bye MN family, we will miss you!

Minnesota Vacation - part 4 - food and fun

More Minnesota fun.
Yummy food and more presents after our zoo trip.  Dodi made an amazing soup and polenta dish!
Tia giving Kate a ride, because the baby stroller was for Kate, not just the dolls.

We then headed to JoJo's house to visit with more family and have more good food.  Ping pong was a hit with all.

Minnesota Vacation - part 3 - the zoo

We took part of a day to visit the zoo.  Kate stayed and napped and we got to go enjoy some time with the animals.
A fun entrance

First stop was the aquarium area. Lucy, Dominic, Dad and Granny enjoyed the touch tank

We watched a presentation on the monk seals
You can't see it very well in the picture above but the monkey has a baby riding on its back.

The wolverines were playing

I love big cats

Minnesota Vacation - part 2 - at home

We had such an amazing trip to MN visiting with family.  It was relaxing and peaceful but also full of adventures and visits with almost all of our family in the area.  We were spoiled with good food, good hospitality and good games/toys!
Kate and Lucy found some large stuffed horses that provided hours of entertainment

Did I mention games...we love to play all different kinds and so do the Alecus, it was perfect.  Kate watched while Lucy and Natalie played Mancala (above) and Jaydon got a new game called Headbanz (below).

The joy of Christmas lasts and lasts...and so do the presents.  More fun gifts for the littles.

More snow fun

Peek - Natalie found a good spot to relax
Papa helped Lucy make a lot of snow angels

Cheering on our Seahawks, they did not do so well.
This is how you would find Lucy 80% of the time. Hanging out in Natalie's room playing with dolls.  Natalie was amazing sharing and entertaining a 3.5 year old for hours.
Meanwhile Kate still loved the pony

Kate enjoyed entertaining us all by putting on some reindeer antlers and then clapping and just being very pleased with herself.  The picture above was trying to capture the moment and didn't do it so well and the video below somewhat captured the fun.
